Matt has been involved in computer technology, mostly Linux and UNIX, since youth and involved in network related technologies for the last 16 years. Matt’s primary professional focus has been Service Provider transport technologies including SONET/TDM, DWDM, IP/MPLS, MPLS-TP, Multicast, IPTV, QoS, and BGP. Recently Matt has been researching SDN, virtualization, and datacenter technologies and how those solutions can maximize value for service provider networks.

During the last 14 years Matt has served as an application developer, senior systems engineer, director of sales engineering, and CTO. Matt’s insight and understanding of service provider technology and market aspects, combined with a computer science background and hands-on experience implementing service provider technologies, creates a unique and powerful resume. Matt takes tremendous pride in his work and is always improving and learning relevant technologies.
